Final Stewie Bench Pull scene

Well here it is finally. Although I believe it needs a little bit of work still, this is the product I turned in for my assignment due to deadline and frame constraints. Any feedback would be appreciated as to what you think it needs or has awkward about it. This is my biggest assignment to date that I've done too so it is a breakthrough for me. They will only get longer from here on out. Also the first I've rendered in order to get the lighting and shadows right. Cheers!

Final Class 2 Assignment preview

I just started doing my assignment that will become the final one for class 2. I chose to do a 'pull' animation for this one out of the many options available. Also for this one I decided to put in a little story to it, simple, but it has reasoning to it. Here's what I hope it to look like 'render-wise' when finished. What I mean by that is I want these colors and shadows occurring if at all possible and if time permits too. Enjoy.

Torso Time!

With this assignment, the model used is now almost a whole figure, just no arms/hands. I like how at AM we progress bit by bit, that way it doesn't feel like we have to do so dang much modeling and posing right away. Just sort of ease on in to it. Here's the final for my Stu guy, I'm thinking down the line a little ways I may come back to post a revised animation, but then again, I may not... ;)

AM Class 2 Ballie Big Step!

This is almost 2 weeks old now, but still playing catchup before I can start posting blogs on a weekly basis if that's possible for me. It still needs to be revised, so I'll be modifying it later when time permits. And in other news, I finally took my Security+ exam last Thursday and am super pleased and suprised to say that I have passed it!! Whoo-hoo!! I even posted the logo at the bottom of the page in celebration! Now a lot more jobs will open up for me in the comptech field should I need to fall back on that while pursuing my Animation career interests.

Catsup Time

Ok. Since I only recently created this blog site, I have missed posting my AM workshop classwork as well as the Basics Class 1 material. So below is my Progress Reel from Class 1. Don't judge too harshly, as I'm still an absolute beginner when it comes to the Maya program and 3d animating. Any feedback would be great. I'll also post later some catchup for my Class 2 BodyMechanics work I'm in the middle of now.

Dee foist bloog

Hello anybody reading this. I decided to finally put up a blog site to follow my skill building with my Animation Mentor schooling studies. Also I'll more than likely put up some rants and insights that occur within my life on here as well once I get used to doing this. I always found blogging to be a bit egocentric, so I'm catering to mine now it seems. It's like a personal diary but put forth on the internet to see. Yeah yeah, heard it all before of course, just stating the obvious and all that, but hey, the net is full of trash, so might as well add to it. And maybe, just maybe there could be a nice ripe piece of wisdom to be found within once in awhile. As I write this I'm starting to think it would be cathartic to do this blog as well. We'll see. Anywho, welcome to this blog site and if you have any comments or criticisms, then leave me a message about it and we'll have a nice little discussion. Cheerio!
